WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO AWAKEN?
What does it mean to awaken…
when you become more self-accepting by alleviating fears and activating compassion and self-love, you’ve started the awakening process.
You will feel a sense of wanting to go deeper, learn more, ask the bigger questions, address your inner child wounds, breaking of loop cycles and habitual patterning to develop a healthier relationship to self in order to integrate all parts of the psyche - light and shadow, soul and spirit towards wholeness.
“The beliefs you have programmed into your unconsciousness, create your life.”
This helps you to shift and heal past hurts, childhood wounds and unresolved anger that lie within the shadow element of the self, which is where we store our repressed feelings.
Essentially you are being called upon to create conscious choices and develop your self-awareness, connectedness and authenticity as part of your ascension process.
Practices to create a better life
Gratitude - magnetic energy that attracts good things
Heart wisdom - anything said from the heart dissolves barriers and brings people’s defences down
Ho’oponopono - a powerful healing prayer you can try
Activate the witness - an extension of the self - what do you recognise in the people you surround yourself with when you lean into awareness. Can you find a neutral place to observe before forming an opinion or taking action.
Body talk - where are you feeling discomfort or dis-ease in the body. Dig deep and step into it, breathe into it and don’t deflect. Allow it to rise so you can acknowledge it, then release or transmute it.
You have the ability to tap into your own ‘central processing unit’ when it comes to programming. Find a neutral perspective to really ‘see’ what is going on. Be curious, not hard on yourself, then make the adjustments you want to see, feel and experience.
THE HUMAN BEING VS THE HUMAN DOING
Do we live in an achievement culture that worships at the alter of accomplishment? How can you stay in your own beingness and appreciate the value of that?
Do you focus on tasks, goals, actions and accomplishments?
It is easy to believe that value comes from external sources. You are only valued or seen if you have achieved something, accomplished a goal or completed a target that is already valued by society. However, as human beings we are also having to navigate relationships, emotions, and our mental health in this ever changing and on-demand world. We barely have time to reflect and look inwards at our own set of beliefs, values and attitudes and use these to give ourselves validation, in whatever way is needed.
Do we live in an achievement culture that worships at the alter of accomplishments?
Do you need to accomplish things to feel good about yourself? How as a human being can you define your self-worth, if not through accomplishments?
Here are some tips to step into ‘being’ more than ‘doing’
Accept your humanity - no one is perfect, we all have flaws.
Redefine success - broaden it beyond wealth, status and other accomplishments. Explore creative avenues, getting satisfaction and enjoyment out of pursuing a personal goal.
Create more balance - it’s about the balance of the being and the doing.
Reduce your to-do list. Are you just stacking it up and pushing yourself towards the impossible? Lighten the load.
Become more flexible - do you have to have lots of structure?
Lighten up - don’t be so serious.
Give self-love - let go of any culturally driven or self-made guardrails that limit when it is appropriate to value and care for yourself.
HEALING OLD PROGRAMMING
The beliefs that have been programmed into your unconsciousness, create your life. The work is rooting out the beliefs that are no longer serving you by overriding the system through conscious intent.
There will be people and situations in your life that you have drawn in with your unconscious programming. No-one is immune to this and it’s layered in its complexity of how it all works. During your soul journey, you have absorbed thousands and thousands of beliefs and programs, all of which accumulate to create your current circumstances, your health & body etc.
“The beliefs you have programmed into your unconsciousness, create your life.”
If you’re not happy with what you’ve created, it’s important to remember your essence is divine. Your higher-self is love and your monad (the divine within you) is 12th dimensional light. Your beliefs are the only thing that stops you from living a glorious, abundant, healthy and fulfilled life.
