WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO AWAKEN?
What does it mean to awaken…
when you become more self-accepting by alleviating fears and activating compassion and self-love, you’ve started the awakening process.
You will feel a sense of wanting to go deeper, learn more, ask the bigger questions, address your inner child wounds, breaking of loop cycles and habitual patterning to develop a healthier relationship to self in order to integrate all parts of the psyche - light and shadow, soul and spirit towards wholeness.
“The beliefs you have programmed into your unconsciousness, create your life.”
This helps you to shift and heal past hurts, childhood wounds and unresolved anger that lie within the shadow element of the self, which is where we store our repressed feelings.
Essentially you are being called upon to create conscious choices and develop your self-awareness, connectedness and authenticity as part of your ascension process.
Practices to create a better life
Gratitude - magnetic energy that attracts good things
Heart wisdom - anything said from the heart dissolves barriers and brings people’s defences down
Ho’oponopono - a powerful healing prayer you can try
Activate the witness - an extension of the self - what do you recognise in the people you surround yourself with when you lean into awareness. Can you find a neutral place to observe before forming an opinion or taking action.
Body talk - where are you feeling discomfort or dis-ease in the body. Dig deep and step into it, breathe into it and don’t deflect. Allow it to rise so you can acknowledge it, then release or transmute it.
You have the ability to tap into your own ‘central processing unit’ when it comes to programming. Find a neutral perspective to really ‘see’ what is going on. Be curious, not hard on yourself, then make the adjustments you want to see, feel and experience.
OUR ANCIENT PAST AND PROJECTED FUTURE
How ancient is our past exactly? And can we view the past, not as time, but as depth and dimension. How important is it, that we understand our origins to create our future?
When you think about the ancient world, you might think about ancient Eygpt or Kem, Mesopotamia, Babylon or Sumeria. Modern beliefs encourage us to discord the past, thinking we’ve moved beyond it and superseded it. Can the past influence the future? Or EVEN the present in subtle yet powerful ways? And in our moments of not being present, can we ever feel whole and embodied?
The dimension of depth
Could the past be viewed as a dimension? And if so, could it then become a dimension of depth?
A psychic and spiritual depth: the deeper we go we find a living world of gods and spiritus and inner realms invisible to the eye. We are taken less ‘back’ than ‘down’ to a kind of knowledge and inner truth, that requires us to retrace our steps, as we remember what we already know, but have forgotten.
The ancients has much to teach us
Unless the new knowledge is tempered by the old, the path of modern science and technology will leave an ever greater legacy of devastation in its wake. This is less a question of simply knowing about the past, like something unrelatable and far away to be studied academically, than of taking the experiential world of the past seriously, as something that in the end belongs to ourselves. For it was a world that included dimensions of existence that we spurn at our own peril. We would do well to revisit these dimensions of existence, acknowledge their validity once more, and reintegrate them.
Ancient Egypt
t is about recognising that we need to reclaim the past as part of who we are, because it belongs intimately to our own larger identity. Through integrating our historical, and indeed our pre-historical, unconscious, we deepen ourselves; we equip ourselves with a standard by which to judge the present; and we become better able to go forward with wisdom into the future.

THE SEVEN LEVELS OF CONSCIOUSNESS
We learn through conscious detachment to tune into our thoughts, feelings and actions as an observer.
human awareness is a multifaceted concept that encompasses various stages of consciousness & self-knowledge.
So let’s look at the different levels of consciousness
Survival consciousness - at this level the primary focus is on basic needs such as food, shelter and safety. A heightened sense of fear and strong drive for self-preservation. At this level a person is deeply rooted in the instinctual responses that ensure physical survival.
Relationships consciousness - Where you begin to prioritise social connections and relationships. The need for belonging and acceptance is explored here and love becomes more prominent. At this level you’re highly influenced by your interactions with others and to seek validation.
Self-esteem consciousness - at this stage the focus is on personal achievements, recognition and self-worth. Building confidence and gaining respect from others are key motivators. People may strive for success and can measure worth through external accomplishments.
Transformation consciousness - here you begin to seek personal growth and want to make self improvements. You become more introspective and start to question beliefs, values and your purpose. Transformation consciousness is marked by a desire for change and a commitment to personal development.
Integration consciousness - at this stage individuals start to integrate their personal growth with their external actions. They align their behaviours with their values and strive for authenticity. Integration consciousness involves harmonising both your inner and outer worlds.
Universal consciousness - this is where you are expanding your awareness beyond personal concerns to include global and universal perspectives. Here there is a deep level of empathy and compassion for all living beings. It’s about a commitment to making a positive impact on the world.
7. Enlightened consciousness
You can achieve a state of profound spiritual awakening and connection with the universe. A sense of oneness with all existence and transcend the limitations of the ego. It’s marked by inner peace, wisdom and deep understanding of life’s mysteries.
So to summarise, human consciousness represents a spectrum of awareness ranging from survival-based, low-energy states (shame, fear, anger) to high-energy, enlightened states (love, joy, peace, unity). To move through the seven levels you’re experiencing a progression from basic physical awareness to universal oneness, moving from ordinary experience to self-realization and union with everything.
THE HUMAN BEING VS THE HUMAN DOING
Do we live in an achievement culture that worships at the alter of accomplishment? How can you stay in your own beingness and appreciate the value of that?
Do you focus on tasks, goals, actions and accomplishments?
It is easy to believe that value comes from external sources. You are only valued or seen if you have achieved something, accomplished a goal or completed a target that is already valued by society. However, as human beings we are also having to navigate relationships, emotions, and our mental health in this ever changing and on-demand world. We barely have time to reflect and look inwards at our own set of beliefs, values and attitudes and use these to give ourselves validation, in whatever way is needed.
Do we live in an achievement culture that worships at the alter of accomplishments?
Do you need to accomplish things to feel good about yourself? How as a human being can you define your self-worth, if not through accomplishments?
Here are some tips to step into ‘being’ more than ‘doing’
Accept your humanity - no one is perfect, we all have flaws.
Redefine success - broaden it beyond wealth, status and other accomplishments. Explore creative avenues, getting satisfaction and enjoyment out of pursuing a personal goal.
Create more balance - it’s about the balance of the being and the doing.
Reduce your to-do list. Are you just stacking it up and pushing yourself towards the impossible? Lighten the load.
Become more flexible - do you have to have lots of structure?
Lighten up - don’t be so serious.
Give self-love - let go of any culturally driven or self-made guardrails that limit when it is appropriate to value and care for yourself.
HEALING OLD PROGRAMMING
The beliefs that have been programmed into your unconsciousness, create your life. The work is rooting out the beliefs that are no longer serving you by overriding the system through conscious intent.
There will be people and situations in your life that you have drawn in with your unconscious programming. No-one is immune to this and it’s layered in its complexity of how it all works. During your soul journey, you have absorbed thousands and thousands of beliefs and programs, all of which accumulate to create your current circumstances, your health & body etc.
“The beliefs you have programmed into your unconsciousness, create your life.”
If you’re not happy with what you’ve created, it’s important to remember your essence is divine. Your higher-self is love and your monad (the divine within you) is 12th dimensional light. Your beliefs are the only thing that stops you from living a glorious, abundant, healthy and fulfilled life.
