Our guest speaker on this episode is the fabulous Gosia Gorna, an award-winning transformational coach, speaker, and a best-selling author of ‘The Expansion Game’ -a powerful method which transforms fear into successes.

Over the past 20 years, Gosia has worked with thousands of people across the world supporting them in finding greater clarity and confidence. Described as a seer, a healer, a visionary, a soul messenger and a clarity doctor, Gosia is passionate about helping leaders and change makers to make outstanding decisions and be more impactful. Her work demonstrates how the power of the intuition and skillful handling of fear can help us all achieve greater clarity, peace, and success. 

TRANSFORMING FEAR INTO SUCCESS

  • Gosia shares that her greatest superpower is intuition and describes how it has not only landed her the best opportunities but also saved her life several times. It was also how she channelled the technique described in her book The Expansion Game. Although she found school challenging and was not academic, Gosia tells us about her spiritual intelligence and desire to make an impact in everything she does. She teaches people how to treat fear as a friend and turn it into your greatest success. Gosia tells the story of giving her first talk, and how she wrote out her intentions for the event and used some of the techniques she now teaches clients.  

  • Sally talks about how the ego can kick in when we are about to share our wisdom, and Gosia describes how she tackles this: identify what you want to achieve and make that very clear, then ask yourself what would be the worst thing that could happen? Sometimes we have a fear of success, because it is so out of our comfort zone and the ego perceives it as a threat. Using a sense of humour, you can get friendly with your fears - and as Gosia says: if you focus on intention, the fear goes away. She also speaks to her soul to gain wisdom in situations that might inspire fear. 

  • Sibby talks about how if it becomes not about you, it can be very empowering and how you can focus on service rather than ego. We agree that having a playful approach to fear can help us to move beyond it. Sally describes her own response to fear sometimes by hiding, and how Gosia’s technique of allowing ourselves to make mistakes is so refreshing. Exaggerating our fears on purpose and verbalising it, can make us realise that some of our fears are irrational or over the top – then it becomes funny! 

  • Gosia tells us a story of a client she worked with who had been crippled for years by a fear of her mother dying, and how she helped her to overcome it by pursuing the worst-case scenario and examining the positives – even if it feels somehow wrong. Sometimes what we perceive as the worst thing that could happen turns out to be the best thing possible. Often, we see this played out in relationships and through heartbreak, and after a time we can see how that relationship wasn’t the right thing for us. 

  • We talk about the different ways intuition speaks, either as a physical instinctive sensation, or as a clear, quiet message that will persist until you listen to it. Gosia shares an incredible story where her intuition guided her away from a dangerous situation while she was out walking. She says that the difference between a fearful voice and an intuitive voice is that there is no drama with your intuition. Intuition speaks in a neutral, peaceful, calm voice, doesn’t exaggerate and often gives physical elements to it. Fear exaggerates and dramatises, often due to past wounds.  

  • Sally talks about how the Universe may decide to intervene if you aren’t connecting with your intuition, sometimes in a big way. Gosia believes that when we ignore what we feel or what we need and the messages we are meant to hear, it is almost like an expression of violence towards ourselves – for example, in the way we eat or how we live our lives. If we do that for too long, a violent situation may come into our lives as a result. It is one of the most loving things to pay attention to ourselves and ask questions to our souls. It’s about knowing the good questions to ask! Gosia says good questioning can change the way she feels, even if the questions aren’t answered directly. She gives the example of asking: what would bring me the greatest joy today? These questions create a space in which the soul can do its work. 

  • Sally speaks about the way we don’t always want to think big because we don’t believe we are worthy or capable or good enough. We describe how finding the joy in what you do is what to focus on. Gosia talks about her mother’s death and how this led her to create the Clarity Activator - a series of questions to help you release confusion and find solutions. It will take you to a place of heartfulness – embracing what is – fear, sadness etc, and putting the most loving energy into it. The purpose of the fears is not just to protect us but to expand us. The bigger the fear, the bigger the shift that will follow.  

  • Sibby describes the difference between courage and fearlessness – how being brave is about being fearful but doing it anyway. Sally talks about stepping into our role as creator by asking questions and using our courage. Gosia closes the episode with a beautiful meditation and a blessing, which will connect you with your heart energy and your own inner light. You will meet your future self, where your problem has been solved or something important has been achieved. She provides some wonderful intuitive questions you can ask to find out how to get there.
