THE SEVEN LEVELS OF CONSCIOUSNESS

We learn through conscious detachment to tune into our thoughts, feelings and actions as an observer.

human awareness is a multifaceted concept that encompasses various stages of consciousness & self-knowledge.

So let’s look at the different levels of consciousness

  1. Survival consciousness - at this level the primary focus is on basic needs such as food, shelter and safety. A heightened sense of fear and strong drive for self-preservation. At this level a person is deeply rooted in the instinctual responses that ensure physical survival.

  2. Relationships consciousness - Where you begin to prioritise social connections and relationships. The need for belonging and acceptance is explored here and love becomes more prominent. At this level you’re highly influenced by your interactions with others and to seek validation.

  3. Self-esteem consciousness - at this stage the focus is on personal achievements, recognition and self-worth. Building confidence and gaining respect from others are key motivators. People may strive for success and can measure worth through external accomplishments.

  4. Transformation consciousness - here you begin to seek personal growth and want to make self improvements. You become more introspective and start to question beliefs, values and your purpose. Transformation consciousness is marked by a desire for change and a commitment to personal development.

  5. Integration consciousness - at this stage individuals start to integrate their personal growth with their external actions. They align their behaviours with their values and strive for authenticity. Integration consciousness involves harmonising both your inner and outer worlds.

  6. Universal consciousness - this is where you are expanding your awareness beyond personal concerns to include global and universal perspectives. Here there is a deep level of empathy and compassion for all living beings. It’s about a commitment to making a positive impact on the world.

7. Enlightened consciousness

You can achieve a state of profound spiritual awakening and connection with the universe. A sense of oneness with all existence and transcend the limitations of the ego. It’s marked by inner peace, wisdom and deep understanding of life’s mysteries.

So to summarise, human consciousness represents a spectrum of awareness ranging from survival-based, low-energy states (shame, fear, anger) to high-energy, enlightened states (love, joy, peace, unity). To move through the seven levels you’re experiencing a progression from basic physical awareness to universal oneness, moving from ordinary experience to self-realization and union with everything.
